On May 28th, p-NET participated in the Drone Summit 2025 in Riga, Latvia, an international event organized by the Ministry of Defence of Latvia in collaboration with Riga Technical University.
Representing p-NET, Marios Nicolaou, our Business Development Director, joined high-level panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and B2B networking sessions. His contributions helped shape strategic dialogues on the evolving role of drone technologies in modern defense and security.
The summit brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including government officials, military leaders, defense analysts, industry executives, and academic experts, to explore the current challenges, technological breakthroughs, and future outlook of drone systems. A key focus was placed on real-world military applications and strengthening strategic cooperation across Europe.
As defense integration becomes an increasing priority for the EU – especially in light of the recently approved €150 billion SAFE program – drone technologies are taking center stage. This development is especially important for Greece, Southeastern Europe, and the broader EU security landscape.
