The project is being funded by the Second IMAGINE-B5G Open Call for Vertical Experiments and Platform Extensions and aims to deliver an Open Infrastructure Portal for facilitating operations with LLM enhancements. The OpenInfra project leverages the open-source framework of OpenSlice, based on ETSI’s OSL SDG work, and provides an IMAGINE-B5G platform extension which aims to integrate and enhance infrastructure operations associated with the Spanish Facility. In this one-year project, p-NET collaborates with Patras University.

p-NET's Role
In the OpenInfra project, p-NET plays a key technical role, particularly in the area of API integration and system interoperability. It is responsible for designing and developing the API translator that bridges facility APIs, including NaC and CAPIF, with other system components. Leveraging its prior experience in adapting its commercial 5G solution APIs to OpenSlice, p-NET brings valuable expertise in API translation and 3GPP interfacing. It will also handle backend connectivity to ensure seamless communication across the infrastructure. During the testing phase, p-NET will actively analyze feedback and perform necessary code refactoring to enhance system performance and compatibility. As a member of both the 6G-IA and ETSI SDG OSL, and with ongoing contributions to OpenSlice’s DevOps, cloud-native, and 5G development initiatives, p-NET is well-positioned to support OpenInfra’s goals of interoperability, flexibility, and open innovation.
