Recognition of our Cutting-Edge 5G/6G Innovation
The recognized innovation – titled “PNET / UoP / NOVA private 5G testbed for vertical domain Use Cases and innovative 5G/6G pre-commercial network applications experimentation and validation” – represents the collaborative work of p-NET, NOVA Telecommunications & Media, and the University of Patras (UoP). The testbed is a state-of-the-art platform designed to enable the experimentation and validation of emerging 5G and future 6G applications across vertical industries.
This innovation has been assessed by the Innovation Radar as Market Ready highlighting not only the technological maturity of the platform but also its readiness to support the addressed market.
What This Means
Being featured on the Innovation Radar platform – alongside over 13,000 other cutting-edge EU-funded innovations – positions p-NET as a Key Innovator in Europe’s drive toward next-generation digital infrastructure. It also confirms the relevance of our work in supporting vertical industries in their digitalization journey. Operating under the Network as a Service (NaaS) model, our testbed offers a customizable and programmable network with slicing and exposure capabilities that address the unique demands of any verticals such as manufacturing, tourism, energy.
